KVKK Clarification Text
As CO OFİS HİZMETLERİ GAYRİMENKUL TURİZM DANIŞMANLIK SANAYİ VE TİCARET LTD. ŞTİ. (hereinafter referred to as "CO HOME"), we respect and prioritize privacy. Therefore, we would like to inform you about your rights regarding the use and protection of your personal data under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (hereinafter referred to as "KVKK").
a) Data Controller
CO OFİS HİZMETLERİ GAYRİMENKUL TURİZM DANIŞMANLIK SANAYİ VE TİCARET LTD. ŞTİ. (hereinafter referred to as "CO HOME") processes your personal data in its capacity as the data controller in accordance with KVKK No. 6698 and other relevant regulations.
b) Personal Data Processed
In accordance with KVKK and other relevant regulations, the personal data categories and explanations that will be processed for the purposes and legal reasons specified in this KVKK Clarification Text are as follows:
Identity Information: Name, surname, place and date of birth, nationality, T.C. ID number, accompanying guest's name, surname, place, and date of birth
Contact Information: Address, phone number, email address
Financial Information: Bank account details
Sensitive Personal Data: Photograph, health condition, and medication use
Other: Room number, vehicle plate number, smoking status, allergen information
c) Purpose of Personal Data Processing
Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes:
To carry out the accommodation services
To record data in the online software systems used by CO HOME for executing sales and marketing policies
To carry out necessary activities by our business units to provide the products and services offered by CO HOME
To measure and improve customer satisfaction
To collect and evaluate complaints and suggestions regarding CO HOME products and services
To recommend CO HOME products and services; planning and/or carrying out market research activities for the sales and marketing of products and services
To ensure the legal, technical, and commercial security of individuals in business relations
To follow up and carry out legal affairs
To manage financial and/or accounting operations
Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the legal grounds specified in KVKK Article 5 (2), including but not limited to:
a) Explicitly prescribed by law,
b) Necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract,
c) Necessary for the fulfillment of the legal obligation of the data controller,
e) Necessary for the establishment, use, or protection of a right.
Your personal data will be processed with your explicit consent under the provisions of KVKK and the Electronic Commerce Law to inform you about CO HOME services, campaigns, and innovations.
Sensitive personal data will be processed with the explicit consent of the guest, in accordance with the legal grounds specified in KVKK Article 6 (2), for identity verification purposes.
d) Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data may be shared, without seeking your explicit consent, for the purposes stated below, in accordance with KVKK Article 8 (2)(a):
To fulfill our legal obligations as required by the relevant legislation, it may be shared with the General Directorate of Security.
For the collection of fees related to products and services, it may be shared with notaries, enforcement offices, and/or courts if necessary for financial and/or accounting operations.
In accordance with applicable legislation, it may be shared with public institutions and organizations if required or upon request.
To return lost items left in the hotel, it may be shared with contracted courier companies.
To follow up on legal processes, it may be shared with our lawyers within the framework of confidentiality obligations as needed.
e) Methods and Legal Grounds for Collecting Personal Data
Your personal data is collected through both automatic and non-automatic methods, based on the legal grounds specified in KVKK Articles 5 (2) and 6 (2), either verbally, in writing, or electronically for the purposes outlined in paragraph (c) of this text:
By filling out forms, sending emails, making phone calls, visiting the website, or contacting through social media platforms.
Through online sales platforms, travel agencies, event organizations, trade shows, seminars, business card exchanges, or through partner institutions or organizations.
f) Your Rights Under Article 11 of KVKK
Under Article 11 of KVKK, as a data subject, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
To learn whether your personal data is processed,
To access your personal data,
To request corrections to your personal data,
To request the deletion or destruction of your personal data,
To object to the processing of your personal data,
To request the transfer of your personal data.
To exercise these rights, you can submit your requests by filling out the Data Subject Application Form and sending it to our address at “Dereköy Mahallesi Kirazlık (105.) Sk. No:1 19 Mayıs/Samsun”, by email at info@cohome.com.tr, by notarized mail, or via registered mail to avoid incorrect disclosure of information.
You may also send an email to info@cohome.com.tr using your registered email address with secure electronic signature or mobile signature.
g) Retention Period for Personal Data
CO HOME will delete, destroy, or anonymize your personal data once the purpose of processing has ended or when the mandatory retention periods defined by laws and relevant regulations have expired.
h) Changes and Updates
This clarification text has been prepared in accordance with KVKK No. 6698 and other relevant legislation. Necessary changes may be made to this text due to amendments in the relevant legal framework or changes in CO HOME’s personal data processing purposes and policies.
